This year’s theme, "Ngā Taonga Tuku Iho," celebrates our shared history, heritage, and culture – the treasures passed down through generations. This event is particularly special as it takes place at one of the original sites where Te Tiriti o Waitangi was signed.

Event Highlights

  • Activities for All Ages: A wide range of activities, including bouncy castles, face painting, DIY zones, basketball shootouts, and more.

  • Entertainment: Performances from local and regional acts, as well as cultural displays. Wood chopping.

  • Kai and Stalls: Enjoy hāngī, food trucks, and community-led stalls showcasing whānau initiatives and fundraisers.

  • Para Kore Zone (Zero Waste): This kaupapa promotes protecting our whenua and taiao as a Para Kore (zero waste) zone. Please bring reusable water bottles and avoid single-use plastics. Composting and recycling stations will be provided.
